Mercedes-Benz W203/ S203 Brabus Sport Exhaust Install
This story illustrates how to install Brabus Sport Exhaust (code 203-676-00) in a 6-cylinder Mercedes-Benz W/S203. The Brabus Sport Exhaust consists of a center silencer and a rear silencer. Photos in this story are of a 2002 S203 C320T, but everything shown here can also be applied on a sedan.

First, we will need to remove the stock exhaust behind the cat. Open the three bolts in front of the stock center silencer, and remove the exhaust from the rubber mounts. An extra pair of hands holding the exhaust while you work on the bolts and mounts can be useful. Take the stock pipe out.
Take the Brabus center silencer, hook it to the center rubber mount and connect it to the cat pipe. Do not tighten the bolts to full torque yet. You will need some flexibility when installing the rear muffler.
Take the Brabus rear muffler and push the center silencer pipe into it. Hook the rear silencer to the rubber mounts. Place the lock band found in the Brabus rear muffler box around the Brabus pipe joint.
Verify that your new big exhaust tips do not touch the rear skirt. If the parts are perfect, there should be no need for cutting or sawing. There is a nice 1/2" gap between the rear skirt and the Brabus pipes.
Check that your new exhaust does not hit anything when moving on bumps. If you need to move the rear silencer a little bit, you can put a band around the rubber mount you want to pull in.
Make sure the exhaust is nicely in line...
...from every point of view. This is tuning! Great looks is at least as important as the sound!
Connect the Brabus pipes together using the lock band. If you leave the band bolts facing down, they this will be the lowest point under your car. And the first thing hitting something on the road. Because of this, I recommend moving them to the top. But please remember to check carefully that they do not hit the rubber bushing above when driving!
Connect the center silencer to the cat pipe turning the bolts to their final torque.
Wash the car...
..., and enjoy your new polished (but snowy) exhaust!
Sweet winter fun!
