WSA-2000 wind blocker install

SLK top up This story illustrates, how to install a WSA-2000 wind blocker to a 2001 SLK230 Kompressor.
Top moving First, it is a good idea to take the top down.
Top down Simply because of the fact that top down gives us more space to work on the car.
Hangers The WSA-2000 wind blocker will require us to remove the hangers above the map pocket in the cabin wall.
Hanger removed The hanger has a hook and a torx screw.
Hangers removed Open the screws and the hangers can be removed easily.
Mounting plates In the WSA-2000 kit there are two mounting plates. Use hanger screws...
Mounting plates installed ...to place these to where we removed the hangers. Do not tighten these fully yet. We need to give the wind blocker some space to find the optimal position.
Cleaning the wind screen Now it is time to bring the windscreen to the car. Clean it one more time, since once it is installed, it is not very easy to clean.
WSA-2000 aligned on stock blocker hooks Align the WSA-2000 windscreen using stock wind blocker hooks in the cabin wall.
WSA-2000 on its place Press the wind screen all the down to "lock" it.
Locking the WSA-2000 wind blocker In the WSA-2000 kit there are two lock screws. Lock the WSA-2000 wind blocker to the mounting plates using these.
